FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How much will it cost?
Pricing a website is dependant on a number of factors. Since Aerobic Design doesn't use ready made templates to produce websites, no two websites will take the same amount of time to build. Generally pricing is determined by estimating the time it will take to complete the work. Smaller websites with fewer pages, built primarily with static html, generally take less time to complete than those built with dynamic, database driven pages. Sometimes a special third party software package may need to be purchased and this will add to the price.
Before work commences, we will require a deposit that equals 1/3 of the estimated price. When the page template is completed, you will be invoiced for another 1/3. When the work is completed, a final invoice will be generated that will be the remainder of the quoted costs plus any additional charges that may have been incurred because of changes to the features or design from the original estimate.
To streamline the process, customers will be asked to fill out a comprehensive Estimate Request Form which will give Aerobic Design the necessary information needed to proceed with the estimate.
How can I pay for the work?
Payment can be by cheque, bank draft or money order.
Cheques should be made out to Aerobic Design Services and mailed to:

How long will it take to make my website?
That depends on the complexity of your website and the features you want integrated into it. Be prepared to wait for a minimum of 2 weeks for your site to be finished. Smaller modifications and updates could be done sooner than that. For complex, larger sites the timeframe will be longer.
I am on a PC. Will the site look okay on a MAC?
Yes. The nice thing about websites is that, if designed properly, they can be viewed on both PC's and MAC's. Your site will be tested on both these computer platforms and, more importantly from a design perspective, on several different popular, current browsers on each platform.
Can I update the content on my website?
That is something that we will discuss before the actual work on your site begins. If you want to do some updating yourself or have content that changes on a regular basis, that feature could be built into the design. Otherwise, Aerobic Design would be happy to make these modifications for you. One thing you should note about this option is that whoever hosts your finished site must be able to support databases and the scripting language that will get used to create the administration and dynamic webpages.
Do I own the pages on my site?
Yes! You own all the content, including graphics, that appear on your new website. If you would like a copy of the files, I would be happy to provide them to you on a CD or email them to you as a ZIP file.
Okay, I'm ready to go. What do I do?
If you are ready to go, please visit my Forms Page. The most important form that I require from you is the Estimate Report Form. This form helps us both to get clear on what your needs are and is the document I use to estimate the cost of creating your new site. As well, take a look at the other documents on this page for additional information. After the estimate is calculated, you will be sent a form for your approval. Should this be acceptable to you, you will then be sent a contract and an invoice for 1/3 of the estimate total. On receipt of the signed contract and payment, construction on your new site will begin.
